Your server's SSL certificate for cpanel will expire in less than 30 days

I managed CentOs Server with Cpanel inside.
One day, I receive warning like this:
Your server's SSL certificate for cpanel will expire in less than 30 days. You need to install a new certificate as soon as possible. You can install a new certificate using WHM's "Manage Service SSL Certificates" interface: https://my.server.com:2087/scripts2/manageservicecrts (Main >> Service Configuration >> Manage Service SSL Certificates).

 This warning is not indicate a problem in my server. This just a warning that I need to reset SSL certificate on my server. So here the solution to this warning:
  • I Login to my server via WHM.
  • Then I Go to "Service Configuration" menu and then to "Manage Service SSL Certificates" sub menu.
  • I Click "Reset Certificate" button that corresponding to the service which need a new certificate.
  • After that the self signed certificate is renewed for one year ahead.

Installing NGINX, PHP and MYSQL on Linux Mint 9

For Development purposes, I try to install NGINX, PHP and MYSQL on My Linux Mint 9. Following instruction on HowToForge Site , bellow are all steps I made to install NGINX, PHP and MYSQL: (All commands, need root privilege, and run from terminal) 1.  run "apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client" to install MySql server and client. And you will be asked to provide root password, at the end of this process. 2. run "apt-get install nginx" to install Nginx 3. run "/etc/init.d/nginx start" to start Nginx 4. go to your browser and open http://localhost, then you will see "Welcome to nginx!" page. Cpanel Default Web Page

When you setup a new cpanel server and want to test the apche service then you try to call the IP address like http://74.xxx.xx.xx. to see if its working. You will see the default webpage defaultwebpage.cgi. This is the standard system on cpanel. The defaultwebpage.cgi actualy is the result of redirection of index.html in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/index.html. The defaultwebpage.cgi itself is placed in /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi. To modify this defaultwebpage, try this 2 simple options: 1. Edit /usr/local/apache/htdocs/index.html. and change the meta http redirection. Index.html consist this simple html script: META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi You can change the value in URL=/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi to URL=/another/page. 2. Or you can edit /usr/local/apache/htdocs/index.html to what ever you like. Wana try....?
